A very gentle hand will pull a modest edge that lasts only a few minutes. The "bargain" from Kai turns out to be overpriced and ready for the trash.

Original: Kai scissors are better than any other made in this world. The steel is worth everything in Kai knives. It''s probably a 4 star overall, but the keen, long lasting, durable edge overwhelms any minor issues . . . but we haven''t found any minor issues yet!

The thinness of the Japanese style knife helps you make those really nice cuts and onions carrots etc. I really wish they had the other one in stock so i could add a chefs knife to my collection. Good knife, great steel. Factory sharpening requires manual improvement, because it is made quite roughly and there are visible grooves from a coarse grain stone on the blade with an unaided eye.

Granted this is a cheap knife, however, it''s made really unusable without any grooves to stop the food from vacuum sticking to it. I wanted just a second cheap knife but should have just spent $20 more to get a better knife with grooves.

The handle is uncomfortable for my cutting style, but I''m used to my Wüsthof Santoku knife. I''d recommend saving up and buying a better knife.

La mano non stanca nemmeno dopo diverse ore di utilizzo. -TAGLIENTE: possiede una lama molto tagliente e sottile. Questo per me rappresenza un vantaggio in determinate situazioni culinarie. Nello specifico si ottiene una grande precisione di taglio ma nel momento in cui si debbano tagliare piccole ossa viene un po'' la paura di rovinare il filo. Ad oggi il filo è ancora in ottimo stato ma questo dipende dal mio modo di utilizzare il coltello. Sono sicuro che se lo sbattessi sul tagliere o lo laverei a mano lasciandolo nel lavandino insieme alle altre stoviglie questo durebbe molto poco. Sono coltelli da curare e non da buttare nel lavandino. Nel momento in cui verifichiate che il coltello ha perso un po'' il filo dedicatevi ad una affilatura a mano su pietra e mai su affilatori commerciali da pochi euro.
